Bluebonnet Plumbing
“My phone is the business. If it doesn't ring, my week doesn't happen — and I have no idea what my website does all day.”
A plumber's customer decides in under a minute, usually on a phone, often mid-emergency. Every second of load time and every buried phone number sends that job to the next search result.
Three decisions, and why
1 · The phone number IS the navigation
A sticky call bar rides the top of every page, and the number is tappable everywhere it appears. Not a contact page — a contact reflex. For emergency trades, forms are where jobs go to die; we made calling the path of least resistance.
2 · Reviews before services
Nobody price-shops a burst pipe — they trust-shop it. The star rating and real-sounding review voices sit directly under the headline, before a single service is named, because trust is the actual product page.
3 · An estimate form that respects the after-hours customer
The 9 PM homeowner researching a water heater won't call at 9 PM. One short form — not a quote calculator, not a chatbot — captures them before the morning competitor gets a chance.
What we deliberately left out
No hero carousel, no stock photos of smiling models in hard hats, no animation. A trades customer in a hurry reads this site as fast, plain, and honest — which is the brand. Restraint was the design.
Measured, verifiable
- ✓ First byte in ~0.14s from the edge — open it and watch
- ✓ Loads in about a second on a phone connection
- ✓ Tap-to-call from every screen, tested on a real device
If this were your business
A real engagement starts the same way this study did — understanding the week, not the website — then adds what no demo can: the free look at your actual business, a fixed written quote, your baseline numbers, and the day-30 review against them.
